I was very lucky to be raised by a Mom who was health conscious. I remember watching her practice yoga and read books about plant-based protein, and thinking, "Ok, my Mom is different!" But she was also healthy. When her friends struggled with emotional eating, anger and weight gain, my Mom tried to show them different ways to approach healthy...ways that worked over the long term.
Now I am a Mother myself, and I have friends who tell me that I make it look easy: staying in shape and being calm and happy. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Being healthy is not a state of being, it's something that I have to practice every day. I fall off the wagon just like everybody else, which is why tools and tricks for staying motivated are so important. You can't expect a "silver bullet" solution, but you can make small changes that will change your habits and eventually change your life.
I am living my true purpose, helping women just like me find the solutions to their own weight loss, inner health and wellness struggles. We can find solutions together that will work just for you, because we are all different in what we can do, when and how.
